These steel bells are not really suitable for use, but ideal for painting and cheaper than the hand-forged steel bells.
Buller black steel bells are machined and a cost-effective alternative to manually forged handlers. The Treicheln are painted black.
Why cowbells?
Cowbells have been used for many years in agriculture for the protection of the herd. When a predator comes closer to the herd, the farmer, shepherd, or alpinist listens to the sound of the bells and can respond accordingly quickly. Also, the responsible person finds the right animals, if all technical aids already fail.
A ringing consists of the bell with different sounds. Thus, every ringing bell is unique.
